Philippine Stimulus package (Volume 2)

Following the COVID-19 outbreak, which has wrought massive disruptions in economies worldwide, global GDP forecasts for 2020 have declined drastically. The World Bank forecasted that the global GDP for 2020 will decline to -3% much worse than during the 2008-2009 financial crisis1. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) likewise predicted that the world economies will contract by -2.3% (under a scenario of shortterm containment and smaller demand shocks) to -4.8% (for a longer-term containment and larger demand shocks2.)
