WAC speaks during Global Shared Services Conference

Advisory Services Head Winston Chan (WAC) was recently in Tokyo to speak during the Global Shared Services Conference spearheaded by EY Japan. Representatives from over 100 big Japanese companies attended the event.

WAC talked about Global Shared Services Center (SSC) trends, particularly the potential and evolution of global business services. He presented the business context and trends in shared services, as well as the transformative impact of global business services and how to make them happen. Meanwhile, EY US partner Jeremy Vaughn discussed SSC Implementation Cases.

In addition to the conference, a roundtable discussion on shared services was also held with invitees from selected companies such as Coca Cola JP, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Rakuten, Fuji Films and KUREHA.
