Tax symposium held for Filipino Chinese

The Filipino-Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (FCGCCI) hosted recently a tax symposium entitled Ang matuwid na pagbabayad ng buwis.The symposium aimed to impart the message that our local businesses can support and sustain national development through correct and proper payment of taxes. It drew over 500 participants, including Filipino-Chinese business owners and tax professionals.

SGV partners Louie Ferrer, Ruben Rubio and Bibi Beng Hui were resource speakers providing updates on the latest income tax forms and requirement, SEC regulations, and other tax issues. FCGCCI Chairman James G. Dy and President Benito Goyokpin delivered the welcome remarks, while SGV Chairman and Managing Partner Vic Noel delivered a special message that stressed that the correct and proper payment of taxes is both a privilege and a responsibility for the leaders of the Filipino-Chinese business community.
