Spotlight on ATH

ATH moves up

Our Asia-Pacific Talent Hub (ATH) recently transferred to its new home at the 9th Floor, SGV II Building. The transfer was heralded with an office blessing led by Rev. Fr. Boogie Tacdoro, SSP on January 12, 2012 and an inauguration on January 18. Chairman and Managing Partner Vic Noel, Deputy Managing Partner Itos Cruz and the market circle heads were in attendance during the office blessing.

EY’s Global Assurance Chief Operating Officer Isabelle Santenac, Asia-Pacific Assurance Leader Clive Saunderson, Area Assurance Enablement Leader Gerry Redmond and Hong Kong Asset Management Leader Elliot Shadforth graced the inauguration. Our leadership, led by Vic and Itos was joined by SGV Founder Wash SyCip as they unveiled the new ATH area. In his opening remarks, Vic had this to say:

“The ATH is a demonstration of our promise to provide quality training and client experiences, and simultaneously give our EY colleagues and clients access to greater, efficient and skilled resources. The ATH is one of our landmark contributions as we continue in our goal to be the number 1 firm worldwide.”

New floor, new style

Colorful walls and dividers arranged per service market line adorn the new area. Each staff member has his own smart work area with multiple telephone lines and printers per row. The conference rooms house 21-inch televisions to be used for video conferencing.

Day 1 difference

A renewed corporate spirit reverberated throughout ATH as the staff buckled down to get to work in their new home. The ATH family has grown exponentially to a 186-strong workforce from 50 members last year. The move is said to signal a more centralized and faster delivery of service to its various market lines.
