Former partners and staff of the Management Services (MS) Division held their first major reunion last 6 November at the SGV eCafe. More than 130 MS alumni reconnected with their colleagues during a night filled with shared laughter and fond memories.

SGV’s MS Division was formed in 1957 and played a significant part in SGV’s growth during its early years. As one of the first business consulting providers in the country, MS helped optimize the operations, efficiency and systems of many companies, helping them rise to the forefront of their industries.

The reunion started off with quick tours around SGV Building 1, showcasing the changes in the staff areas, the Washington SyCip Development Center and the SGV Lounge. The alumni also visited the 6th and 7th floors, where the MS offices used to be located. Afterwards, a mass of thanksgiving was offered before the reunion dinner officially kicked off with welcome remarks from SGV Head of Administration Ruben Rubio and Head of Advisory Services Winnie Chan. Over the course of the evening, many of the alumni happily volunteered to share anecdotes and stories about their experiences in SGV.

The Reunion Organizing Committee was spearheaded by former Management Services Partner Frances “Nahnee” Monje, and included alumni such as Eugenio Ladrido, Mario Gatus, Celia Samson, Rosario Manahan, Nadjie Abueg, Lizabeth Aguas-Non, Maureen Faustino, Kathleen Ong and Maria Lourdes Estella.
