SGV tapped as Pasig River run aims to break world record

In a bid to break the current world record on the largest footrace, ABS-CBN Foundation, Inc. tapped the services of SGV to determine the total number of runners in the 10.10.10 Run for Pasig River. Assurance Partner Aldrin Cerrado coordinated with the Guiness World Record adjudicators for the proper counting method.

Aldrin, with manager Cathy Castro, organized the team of about 130 SGV representatives to count the number of runners. The team convened at around 2:00 a.m. and finished tallying the runners at 2:00 p.m. on the day of the run.

The Pasig River run officially logged in a total of 116,086 runners, breaking the Philippine record and possibly setting a new Guiness World Record for the Largest Eco-Foot Race in the world.
