SGV hosts lunch for outgoing SRPC president

SGV & Co. and the servicing partners of the Marubeni Group hosted a send-off lunch for the outgoing president of San Roque Power Corporation (SRPC), Mr. Ryukichi Kawaguchi, at the SGV Museum on 4 May.

As a token of appreciation, Mr. Kawaguchi presented SGV Founder Wash SyCip with a framed photo of the Molave tree he planted in 2011 as part of his 90th birthday celebration. The tree now stands at almost 3m high at the San Roque Tree Library/Arboretum in San Manuel, Pangasinan.

Also in attendance were the incoming president of SRPC and current Executive Vice President of Marubeni Philippines Corporation (MPC) Mr. Kenshi Iseri, MPC President and CEO Mr. Koichi Kuwamura, and other guests from the Marubeni Group. From SGV were Chairman and Managing Partner Vic Noel, Vice Chairman and Deputy Managing Partner Itos Cruz, Head of Tax and General Counsel Willie Villanueva, MG4 Leader Daks Balili, and Marubeni servicing partners, Fame delos Santos, Carol Racelis and Jhoanna Go.
