SGV Cebu plants 2,500 trees

In line with the firm’s commitment to environmental sustainability, SGV Cebu organized a tree planting activity last 24 September 2016 in Sitio Cantipla, Brgy. Tabunan, Cebu City.

This undertaking aimed to promote deeper involvement with environmental protection and viability. Representatives from the Philippine Business for Social Progress, which will take charge of maintaining the planting site for the next two years, were present to assist during the activity. The SGV Cebu team, demonstrating their teamwork and enthusiasm for tree preservation and conservation, planted a total of 2,500 seedlings, as part of the tree-planting package that was funded by the SGV Foundation. The activity was attended and spearheaded by SGV Cebu branch partners, Cheryl Ong and Gen Arevalo, and the SGV Cebu Tree Planting Core team.
