Rose Rancap is PAS Administrative Professional of the Year 2011

Core Business Services manager Rose Rancap was recently named Administrative Professional of the Year (APY) 2011 by the Philippine Association of Secretaries and Administrative Professionals (PAS). This is the first time in the history of the association that both recipients of the awards Executive of the Year and Administrative Professional of the Year came from the same company. In 2010, People Leader and Head of Administration Gerry Sanvictores was named PAS Executive of the Year.

Founded in 1958, PAS is the premier organization of secretaries and administrative professionals in business corporations and other institutions. The organization has worked continuously to professionalize and upgrade the standard of administrative and secretarial work.

The Administrative Professional of the Year is an annual search for the most outstanding administrative professional and PAS member. It is awarded to the individual who demonstrates a firm commitment to leadership and continuing education, and who meaningfully contributes to the advancement of the Association and the administrative profession.

“Qualifying for the award was a nerve-wracking and challenging experience but one that I was equipped to handle, thanks to my SGV training. There is no shortage of hope and encouragement at SGV and I would like to thank all my esteemed colleagues, especially all my partners in-charge, for giving me their trust and confidence,” said Rose. “There are no big or small roles in the achieving an organization’s vision and truly, today’s administrative professional can make a difference.”

Rose will vie with the APY 2012 awardee for the honor to represent the Philippines during the 22nd Association of Secretaries and Administrative Professionals in Asia and the Pacific (ASAPAP) Congress in Bangladesh in 2012.
