Assurance director Rao’ul Balisalisa of SGV Davao received the prestigious SyCip Award for being the consummate SGV manager who consistently provides quality services and adds much value to his deliverables, earning him the respect and praise from his clients and colleagues. Rao’ul is known to foster mentorship, open communication and lifelong learning among staff members resulting in genuine teamwork and camaraderie. He is the recognized Firm expert in the agriculture industry.

On the occasion of the 90th birthday of Co-Founder Fred Velayo, the Velayo Award was presented to Johanna Lynn Chua, assurance senior associate from MC2. Johanna was cited for her tenacity in growing a key account’s operations in China through her competency in Mandarin. She was recognized for showing genuine concern for the performance of her peers and her cluster by providing constant and timely feedback wile promoting inclusiveness among team members.

Kristopher Catalan, assurance director from MC4, was recognized with a Special Award for his skills in negotiation and communications which he utilizes with much success in discussing fees and other critical points in an engagement.

For her critical role as operations manager of the Asia-Pacific Talent Hub (ATH), Assurance director Addie de Guzman-Lumbres received a Special Award. Her energy and drive to fulfill her responsibilities has resulted in the reputation of the Philippines as an organization highly capable of outsourcing services in the area.

The ICAAP Core Team also received a Special Award for for taking the lead in establishing the Firm as a thought leader in the Internal Capital Adequacy Process, a key initiative of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. The team members are: Christopher Edmund Chua, Michael Angelo de la Cruz, Emmanuel de Guia, Riva Rei Gamboa, Jesus Rogelio Gamil, Fitzjavlad Janzen Lee, Jamila Pacheco and Edison Regalado.
