ACM completes Olympic distance triathlon!
Last 6 October, MG 5 Assurance Partner Aris Malantic participated in and completed the Safeguard Active 5i50 triathlon held at Subic Bay. The triathlon course consisted of a 1.5-km swim, a 40-km bike segment, and a 10-km run. The 5i50 series is the Olympic distance brand of the World Triathlon Corporation. It aims to encourage more people to adopt a healthy lifestyle and embrace multi-sport training and racing, as well as become a starting point for people who are interested in joining triathlons.
ACM’s wife and members of his cluster, namely Cathy Biliran, JC Maminta, Jomar Ebrada, Mizpha Cayabyab, Charlene Perez, Madelle Amora, Gatchi Gatchalian, Jocy Viray, Mike Calimlim, Kycia Martinez and Volt Coycoyen cheered for ACM throughout the grueling 51.50-km course. Together with other cluster members, they have also embarked on fitness activities in the cluster’s Beat the Curve program where they compete in a series of sporting events like basketball, volleyball, badminton and bowling.
Work-life balance, extensive training, determination and the support of his family and friends enabled ACM to complete his first triathlon event.
