A salute to our new CFAs, FRMs and SOAs

Financial Assurance Services associate Bryan Baes (VLS cluster, MC 1), Financial Services Risk Management associates DJ del Mundo and Dickie Rodriguez (CGL/FAL cluster, MC 1) and Assurance associate Michael Saniel (JTV cluster, MC 4) all passed Level 1 of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) examination last December. Passing the six-hour CFA exam is a prerequisite to earning a CFA charter.

Bryan and Dickie also passed the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) examination, completing Level I and Level II, respectively. Dickie will receive the FRM certification in June of this year after fulfilling all certification requirements. Administered by the Global Association of Risk Professionals, the FRM examination is one of two comprehensive tests used to measure a candidate’s skill and knowledge on financial risk management.

Dickie also cleared the Society of Actuaries (SOA) Exam last year when he took both the Probability test and Financial Mathematics test. The SOA is an educational, research and professional organization that aims for actuaries to be the leading professionals in the risk measurement and management field.
